In many African nations, resource-constrained health systems and soaring out-of-pocket costs, 32% according to the WHO, stand in the way of achieving the UN's 2030 Universal Health Coverage (UHC) goals. Skanda was founded to confront this crisis head-on.
Established by Ms. Nanditha Nagaraj and Ms. Khady Seck, Skanda is a non-profit organization committed to making essential healthcare accessible and affordable for all. Guided by fieldwork insights that highlighted financial constraints as a major barrier, we built a solution designed for impact.
